Guidelines for partcipants:

1. Poster presentation:

a. Size of the poster should be 3’ x 3’(min)

b. The poster should be clearly visible from a distance of 3 feet.

c. A maximum of four colors may be used for designing the poster.

d. VERDANA, GARAMOND, ARIAL and TIMES NEW ROMAN can be used as fonts for the poster.

e. Aim, theory , methodology, figures and tables, results and conclusion should be clearly visible in the poster.

f. Heading should be 36 pt. and text should be 18 – 24  point size.

g. The number of words used under each heading should not exceed 120.

h.The poster should be self explanatory and minimum emphasis should be laid on oral explanation. The effort put in for including greater information in a limited space with clarity shall be considered for evaluation.

2. Paper presentation:

a. A technical paper  can have a maximum of  4 authors.

c. Paper should be enclosed with Xerox of identity proof of authors.

d. Authors must send 2 hard copies , 1 soft copy and registration fees (cash or DD) to college,

e. Power point presentation should be in proper format,

3. Documentary:

a. Documentary should not exceed 6 min. of duration,

b. After showing documentary one of team member should explain the documentary in brief for max. 4 minutes,

c. Documentary or short film  should be  relevant to one of the given topics.

d. Team of participants for documentary presentation should not exceed 5 members.

4. PROJECT EXHIBITION :

a. For management related topics, conceptual projects may be presented. Power Point Presentations of projects related to ERP and MIS may be submitted in advance, by mail in addition to the soft copy in the form of  a  DVD/CD submitted long with the hard copy.

b. Power supply requirements may be indicated one week in advance by e-mail, besides any other specific infrastructural support solicited from the institution,

c. A note on the details of the project typed in TIMES NEW ROMAN font 12 pt. size , for running matter and diagram , tables may be submitted along with the registration fees in “ROYAL EXCECUTIVE BOND PAPER “.

d. Project submitted must be accompanied by a declaration stating that it has not been submitted by any one in any other event across the world to the best of his/her knowledge.

e. A maximum of five students are permitted in a team to present a project.

NOTE: The institution reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event for reasons of technical feasibility. If an event stands cancelled, any registration fees paid by participant shall be refunded to him/her during VIGNANA PRADARSHAN-2009.
